Wheel Repair
This Mazda RX8 came into us after it had suffered a major incident. As you can see a hole was punched through the barrel of the wheel. the wheel was also badly buckled.
Even severe damage such as this is repairable and in the case of this particular wheel it was worth the customer spending the money as it is quite rare and almost impossible to replace.
We first straightened out the buckles, then we had to cut out around the hole and layer by layer rebuild it. Once it had been filled in we had to grind it back and smooth it off back into shape.
The final result is a wheel that is now back into usable condition and after a refurbishment will look very good again.
